April 2008:UFC Hall of Fame Inductee, and former UFC Champion Dan "The Beast" Severn ran practice at Edge MMA & Fitness Thursday night (April 10, 2008)!
It was a great opportunity for Edge members to meet (and learn from) a true UFC Legend... and a GREAT Instructor as well!
Dan ran an awesome practice for us, and it was great to see him show the Colorado MMA fans, what legends are made of Saturday night, April 12, at the Worldwide Fighting Championships (WFC) at the Denver Coliseum.
Coach Marr was in Dan's corner.

April 2008:UFC Fight Night 13
Things are heating up at the Edge... We just dominated the Pancrase USA Championships on March 15th, and then some of the UFC Competitors came to train with us for the UFC in Broomfield on April 2nd!
Houston Alexander, Anthony Johnson and Ryan Roberts (who started his Grappling and MMA career right here at Grappler's Edge) were here and training hard... It was a pleasure to have them here training, and we hope to have them back to train with us again!

November 2007: Edge MMA & Fitness was inducted into the International Black Belt Hall of Fame on November 10, 2007 in Pittburgh, PA, as the "2007 School of the Year"!
Edge MMA & Fitness was also inducted into the U.S. Martial Arts Hall of Fame on July 30, 2005 in Chicago Illinois; as the "2005 School of the Year"!

September 2007: Team Edge Members Malcolm Havens and Bahar Shahidi placed 1st and 2nd (respectfully) at the first ever World Grappling Championships held on September 9, 2007 in Antalya Turkey.
Edge Coach Sheldon Marr was one of the U.S. Coaches for this historic event, where the U.S. Team dominated the competition.
With a Gold and a Silver at the World Championships, Team Edge placed higher as a school than any other school in the world!

2ND AT WORLD CUP!
August, 2006:TEAM EDGE of Denver, Colorado proved themselves to be one of the top Submission Wrestling teams in the country, by placing 2nd at the 2006 ISWA Team Submission Wrestling World Cup held at the Jenny Craig Pavilion in San Diego, California on August 20, 2006.

Team Edge proved once again who the top Grappling Team in the region is by dominating the competition at the Rocky Mountain Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation (RMBJJF)'s "5th Annual National Cup" held on Oct. 16, 2010 at Arvada High School, Arvada, CO.
Team Edge entered 8 Competitors, and came home with 11 medals (and 8 of them GOLD)!!!

Team Edge proves once again to be one of the top Grappling Teams in the USA by winning their 7th straight (8th overall) Pancrase USA Team Title (and their 15th U.S. National Grappling and/or Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Team Title to date), by winning the 2010 PANCRASE USA NATIONAL SUBMISSION WRESTLING CHAMPIONSHIPS on March 13, 2010, in Broomfield, Colorado.
Edge Coach Sheldon Marr was awarded "The Ozaki Cup" and Team Edge were recognised as the "Pancrase USA National Team Champions".
